Pyro selected as Premier Courseware of 2005 by NEEDS

Students won two of nine technical awards presented to a field of 22 teams at the AAAI-05 Mobile Robot Competition and Exhibition, held at the National Conference on Artificial Intelligence.

2004

"Improved Interfaces for Human-Robot Interaction in Urban Search and Rescue" written by Michael Baker, Robert Casey, and Brenden Keyes, selected as a finalist for Best Student Paper at IEEE Systems, Man Cybernetics Conference, October.

Students placed 7th at the Trinity College Firefighting Competition.

2003

Trinity College Firefighting Competition

  • Students Robert Casey and Brenden Keyes received the Spirit of an Inventor award.
  • Students Michael Baker and Phil Thoren received a National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance award for the second year in a row.
