Artbotics Exhibition "The Presence of Absence" on June 12th

The Spring 2010 Artbotics after school high school program is coming to an end, and to celebrate their work will be on display for a one-night-only event at the 119 Gallery in Lowell. The event is June 12th, 2010 from 6-9pm. Their work, "The Presence of Absence," is an installation comprised of individual robotic pieces from each student which they designed, programmed, and created. The pieces manipulate fabric forms by twisting, pulling, and rotating via motors controlled by the Super Cricket, creating an abstract, surreal, and dreamy visual.
