On April 25, 2011 Robotics Lab member Kate Tsui presented a poster on her work, "Designing a Telepresence Robot System for Use By People with Disabilities," at the UMass Lowell Student Research & Community Engagement Symposium. This research focuses on the use of a modified Vgo telepresence robot by an interface, introducing autonomous features to the robot.
