UMass Lowell at RoboBusiness'08

 

UMass Lowell students demonstrate their robots at RoboBusiness'08 in Pittsburgh, PA.

UMass Lowell hosted an exhibition booth at RoboBusiness'08 in Pittsburgh, PA. Over thirty businesses, research labs, and schools participated in the Exhibit Hall. UMass Lowell students Mark Micire, Munjal Desai, Erin Rapacki, and Kate Tsui represented Holly Yanco's Robotics Lab. They presented robot demonstrations from two application domains: assistive technology and urban search and rescue. Greg Pilla, Ryan Tucker, Yan Tran, Erin Rapacki, and Quoc Huynh represented Fred Martin's robotics class. They demonstrated the second version of the MCP, a student build outdoor robot, which competed at the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition last year.
