The UMass Lowell Robotics Lab welcomes its newest addition to the robot family, Margo! She is the second generation of our modified VGo Communications VGo telepresence robots, the first being Hugo. Pictured to the left is the Robotics Lab's celebration of Margo's first ever birthday(cake and all). Also pictured is doctoral candidate Kate Tsui with one of two Margo replications, Largo, who will be traveling to the University of Michigan. The other replication, currently unnamed, will be traveling to Tufts University.

Margo's augmentations include a Hokuyo UHG laser, an array of IR distance sensors, Logitech webcam, Kinect, fitPC 2, a tri-color LED lit plexiglass Hawaiian t-shirt, among other components. More information will be available on the Robots page soon. Welcome to the family, Margo!
