The Botfest exhibition 2012 took place at UMass Lowell on March 24, 2012. Projects from middle and high schools were exhibited alongside the Botball New England 2012 Tournament.
Robotics I (91.450) Fall 2011 Final Projects
Robotics I (91.450) present their final projects for the Fall 2011 semester. Included are robotic race cars, a light-drawing robot, and a robotic arm controlled by an Xbox Kinect.
STREAM Workshop 2011
STREAM is a workshop to help K-12 educators utilize robotics as they teach STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) subjects. This year's workshop was held at the Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center on June 29, 2011.
Artbotics Spring 2011 College Course "PLAY" Exhibition
The Spring 2011 semester's Artbotics college course held their exhibition "PLAY" at 119 Gallery in Lowell, MA. The exhibition was part of the 2011 Boston CyberArts Festival.
Robot Block Party 2011 at the Museum of Science
On April 16, 2011, the Robotics Lab participated in the Robot Block Party at the Museum of Science as part of National Robotics Week. We brought a few multi-touch controlled robots with us for attendees to try out.

The Botfest 2011 exhibition occurred during the Botball New England Tournament on April 9, 2011. Students presented a variety of different robotic projects, including a dragon that shoots silly string at viewers!
Artbotics Workshop for NCWIT MACAA Awardees 2011
On Saturday, February 12, 2011 an Artbotics workshop was held for winners of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) Massachusetts Aspirations in Computing Affiliate Award (MACAA) at The Revolving Museum.
CS Education Week 2010 at Advanced Math and Science Academy
Representatives from the Robotics Lab, iRobot, Artbotics, and the Revolving Museum gave presentations and demos to students at the Advanced Math and Science Academy in Marlborough, MA.
CS Education Week 2010 at Fitchburg High School
Lab member Adam Norton gave three "Intro to Cricket" workshops at Fitchburg High School on December 6th, 2010, as part of Computer Science Education Week. The workshops served as a pre-cursor to a future Artbotics course.
Robotics and Science Educators Workshop 2010
On November 6th, 2010 an educators workshop was held at UMass Lowell. Topics including Botball, Botfest, iSENSE, iRobot SPARK, and Cricket Logo programming among others were covered through lectures and workshops.
Robotics Night at the Lowell Spinners
On August 10, 2010 a variety of robots were showcased at the Lowell Spinners' game, including those from UMass Lowell and iRobot.

Artbotics Exhibition "The Presence of Absence" Spring 2010
Eight students participated in the Spring 2010 semester Artbotics program and had their exhibition on June 12th, 2010. Their work, "The Presence of Absence," was on display at the 119 Gallery for a one-night-only event.
Trinity College Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest 2010
Students from UMass Lowell competed in the 2010 Trinity College Fire Fighting Home Robot Contest on April 11, 2010. Congratulations to Steve Hurton, Paul Phamduy, Saroun Sek, and their robot, Dragonfly, who placed 3rd in the Senior Division: Original Robot category.

Artbotics After School Program Fall 2009 Exhibition
Each participant in this semester's program created their own ROBOZYGOUS creature: a robotic hybrid animal. Included hybrids are a panda/eagle, giraffe/seal, and a shark/owl.

Robotics I (91.450) Fall 2009 Egghunt
Students in the Robotics I class built robots designed to compete in the Egghunt. The robots autonomously find and capture eggs for their team.
Artbotics Middle School Workshop 2009
This summer Artbotics offered two 1-week workshops for middle school students. Session one was held August 3-7 and session two was held August 10-14. A total of 16 students ranging from 10-14 years old completed the workshop.

RoboBusiness 2008
UMass Lowell hosted an exhibition booth at RoboBusiness 2008 in Pittsburgh, PA. They presented robot demonstrations for assistive technology, urban search and rescue, the second version of the MCP and a student-built outdoor robot, which competed at the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition last year.
Artbotics High School Program Summer 2007
During the summer of 2007 Artbotics rounded up previous participants in the program to make a short film entitled, "The Byte Life."
